📋 Affiliate Program Terms

Commission Structure

You'll earn a commission percentage as specified in your affiliate dashboard (typically ranging from 10-30% depending on your tier and performance). Commissions are calculated on the net revenue received by us from each new customer who signs up through your unique referral link and maintains an active paid subscription for at least 30 days.

Commission rates may vary by geographic region, product tier, and your affiliate status. We reserve the right to adjust commission rates with 30 days' written notice. Any rate changes only apply to new referrals after the notification date.

We track everything properly with industry-standard attribution windows and fraud detection. No shady business, just clean tracking that stands up to scrutiny.

Payment Terms and Tax Compliance

Payouts are processed monthly via Stripe on the 15th of each month, provided you've hit the minimum threshold ($50 USD or equivalent). Different minimums may apply in other currencies: €45 EUR, £40 GBP, $75 CAD, $80 AUD.

You're responsible for providing accurate tax information. US affiliates must provide a valid W-9 form. Non-US affiliates need to complete a W-8BEN or W-8BEN-E as applicable. We'll issue 1099s to US affiliates earning over $600 annually, and provide tax documentation to international affiliates as required by local laws.

We withhold taxes as required by applicable law. If you're in a jurisdiction with a tax treaty with the US, you may be eligible for reduced withholding rates by providing proper documentation.

We're not tax advisors, so consult your accountant about how affiliate income affects your tax situation. Keep good records – the tax man doesn't mess around.

Data Protection and Privacy

As an affiliate, you may have access to certain customer data for tracking purposes. You agree to handle this data in compliance with applicable privacy laws including GDPR, CCPA, UAE PDPL, and other relevant regulations based on where your referrals are located.

You must maintain appropriate security measures to protect any customer data, use it only for legitimate affiliate tracking purposes, and never share it with third parties. You'll delete any customer data within 30 days if your affiliate status is terminated.

Prohibited Activities and Compliance

To keep things legit and protect everyone involved, here's what's absolutely off-limits:

No spamming, cold calling, or unsolicited marketing. This includes email spam, SMS spam, and unauthorized social media outreach.
No impersonating our company or claiming official partnership beyond your affiliate status.
No bidding on our trademarked terms in paid search campaigns without explicit written permission.
No misleading claims about guaranteed results, especially regarding SEO rankings or search engine relationships we don't have.
No affiliate links in paid social media ads without prior approval. Organic content promotion is fine.
No cookie stuffing, forced clicks, or any fraudulent tracking methods. We monitor this stuff closely.
No promoting to audiences under 18 or in ways that violate platform terms of service.
No content that violates applicable laws in your jurisdiction or that of your audience.

International Compliance

Affiliates operating in specific jurisdictions must comply with local advertising and marketing regulations:

European Union: Comply with the Unfair Commercial Practices Directive and ensure all promotional content includes proper disclosures about the commercial relationship.

United States: Follow FTC guidelines requiring clear disclosure of affiliate relationships. Use #ad, #affiliate, or similar clear language.

Canada: Adhere to Competition Act requirements for truthful advertising and proper disclosure of material connections.

Australia: Follow ACCC guidelines for honest advertising and clear disclosure of commercial relationships.

UAE: Comply with UAE consumer protection laws and ensure all marketing materials are truthful and not misleading.

Performance and Quality Standards

We expect affiliates to maintain high-quality promotional standards. Your content should be professional, accurate, and properly represent our services. We reserve the right to request changes to promotional materials that don't meet our brand standards.

Affiliates generating suspicious traffic patterns, unusually high refund rates from their referrals, or engaging in practices that harm our reputation may have their accounts suspended pending investigation.

We provide marketing materials and guidelines to help you succeed. Use them as a starting point, but feel free to create original content that aligns with our brand values and legal requirements.

Termination and Post-Termination

Either party can terminate this agreement with 30 days' written notice. We may terminate immediately for violations of these terms, fraudulent activity, or if continuing the relationship would pose legal or reputational risks.

Upon termination, you'll receive payment for all validated commissions earned up to the termination date (subject to our standard payment schedule and thresholds). Your access to affiliate links and tracking will be disabled, and you must stop using our trademarks and promotional materials.

Some obligations survive termination, including data protection requirements, confidentiality, and the prohibition on making false claims about our services.

We want long-term partnerships with quality affiliates. Play by the rules, focus on value, and we'll all make money together. Break the rules, and we'll part ways professionally but firmly.

Limitation of Liability

Important legal protections for both parties:

Our maximum liability to any affiliate is limited to the total commissions paid to that affiliate in the 12 months preceding any claim.
We're not liable for lost profits, indirect damages, or consequential damages arising from the affiliate program.
Affiliates indemnify us against claims arising from their promotional activities that violate laws or these terms.
These limitations apply to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.
